OptioPay improves the way people receive money. Its innovative platform processes payments from companies (payment issuers) to their customers and employees. By offering higher-value gift cards of well-known advertisers as a payout option, it increases the value, flexibility and transparency of payments. Customers can, for instance, increase a payout of 100 € by 10%, simply by choosing a gift card valued at 60 € and transferring the remaining 50 € into their bank account. Gift card options span across many categories including fashion, technology, travel packages and even products of daily use. Renowned companies including Amazon, Adidas, Zalando and Westwing have been successfully acquired as OptioPay`s advertisers. As a result, OptioPay´s payment platform creates a ‘win, win, win’ situation for all parties involved in the payout process. On the one hand, payment recipients are able to choose gift cards with a higher value than the original payment. On the other hand, issuers earn money with payouts through a revenue share system, turning a cost centre into a revenue centre. Furthermore, advertisers gain a new marketing channel as they turn payouts into revenue by offering their own gift cards as a payout option.
